EXPLORE LAOS – LAND OF A MILLION ELEPHANTS (4D4N)

24:00 Our bus and tour guide will pick up guests at the designated meeting point in Da Nang and depart for Lao Bao via Highway 9 South Laos.

06:00 Guests will have breakfast at a restaurant at the Lao Bao border gate. They will then continue to the border gate to complete the entry procedures through the Lao Bao – Den Sa Van border gate. Then move to Savanakhet, the second largest city in Laos, the hometown of the late President Kaysone Phomvihane.

Lunch: Arrive in Savanakhet and have lunch at a restaurant. Guests will then check in to their hotel and take a break.

Afternoon: Visit That Ing Hang Pagoda (30 minutes), the oldest and most famous pagoda in the Thailand-Laos region, with a history of about 2,000 years. The pagoda is a museum of hundreds of Buddha statues lined up along the radiant corridors in the dawn light. As soon as you step through the gate of the pagoda, you will feel like you have stepped into a fairy tale, a mythical story about a monk who disappears and reappears, leaning against the hang tree to return to the fairyland. Therefore, the stupa was erected to commemorate this event.

Visit and shop at Savannakhet International Trade Center.

Evening: Have dinner at a restaurant, then have free time to explore Savanakhet city at night and enjoy the largest casino in Savannakhet: Savan Vegas Casino.

06:00 Enjoy breakfast and check out of the hotel. Depart for the capital city of Vientiane. En route, make a stop at a designated point along the Ho Chi Minh Trail for sightseeing.

Trưa: Savor a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Continue the journey to Vientiane.

Visit the revered Wat Phabath, paying homage to the sacred “footprint” of Buddha left on the rock. This renowned temple draws both locals and tourists seeking spiritual solace and blessings. Devotees often pray for safe travels and good fortune during their pilgrimage.

Evening: Upon arrival in Vientiane, if time permits, guests will take a leisurely drive to admire the capital city of Vientiane (if not possible, move to the morning of Day 3). Afterwards, check in to the hotel and relax.

Enjoy dinner at a restaurant followed by free time to explore the capital city of Vientiane at night (Vientiane Night Market, traditional massage, etc.).

Morning: After breakfast, guests will continue on to visit:

• The Budha Park and the Laos-Thailand border, experiencing the life of the border people along the banks of the Laos and Thailand rivers, as well as the duty-free shopping center there.

• Visit the Mother Si Muang Temple, a famous sacred temple. Here, you can have a wrist-tying ceremony to pray for good luck, health, and prosperity.

Lunch: Have lunch at a restaurant, return to the hotel for a break.

Continue sightseeing with visits to:

• That Luang Stupa: The symbol of Laos and is depicted on Laotian currency.
• Patuxay Monument (Victory Arch): Built in 1958 to commemorate the Lao heroes who died fighting against the French. The monument is modeled after the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. It is 49 meters tall and visitors can climb to the top for panoramic views of Vientiane.
• National Museum: Learn about the history and culture of Laos.

Evening: Xe chở Đoàn đi ăn uống tại nhà hàng địa phương (chi phí tự túc). Xe chở đoàn di chuyển về khách sạn, đoàn tự do khám phá thủ đô Viêng Chăn về đêm.

06:00 After breakfast at the hotel, the guest checks out and departs for Da Nang via Lao Bao border gate.

Lunch: Stops for lunch at a restaurant (30-40 minutes), then continues on to Da Nang. On the way, they stop for dinner at a local restaurant (30-40 minutes).

21:00 Guest completes immigration procedures at Lao Bao border gate and continues on to Da Nang. (The border gate closes at 10:00 PM)

03:00 Expected arrival in Da Nang on the morning of the 8th. The van and tour guide will take guests back to the original pick-up point. The tour disbands and say goodbye.
